Over the Horizon: Around the Big Back Yard (North Queensland)
A glance at the contents hereabouts might suggest a lack of travel activity before the northward trip that prompted me to start writing About The North.
That's not true, although, in a way it might as well be.
Through my last few years in the workforce, we did get out and about in the Big Back Yard. However, we don't have the written accounts or the photogrsphic details to prove it.
The change came after the Movie Blogs in 2007, but it took a while to apply to travel in The North.
Day trips to Townsville or Airlie Beach don't count as Travelogue material. There's usually very little to write home about.
